PDS Tech Commercial is seeking a dedicated A&P Mechanic to ensure our fleet meets the highest standards of safety and performance. In this role, you will play a crucial part in maintaining, repairing, and troubleshooting aircraft airframes and engines, ensuring compliance with FAA regulations. **Day-to-Day Responsibilities:** + Maintain, repair, and troubleshoot aircraft airframes and engines. + Ensure aircraft conformance with FAA regulations. + Identify and troubleshoot malfunctioning parts. + Recommend part changes or adjustments to improve engine performance. + Document and maintain maintenance paperwork according to regulations. + Perform a variety of tasks under general supervision. + Utilize creativity and judgment to accomplish goals. **Required Qualifications:** + High school diploma or equivalent. + Airplane mechanics license. + 0-2 years of experience in the field or a related area. + Familiarity with standard concepts, practices, and procedures in aircraft maintenance. + Ability to lift over 30 lbs and handle significant repetitions of this or lesser weights. + Willingness to work in environments with substantial machine, chemical, biological, or other physical risks. **Preferred Qualifications:** + Additional certifications or training in aircraft maintenance. + Experience with specific aircraft models or systems. + Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. + Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
