Tansky Sawmill Toyota is currently seeking an Accounting Assistant to join our team! The ideal applicant must demonstrate good administrative skills, basic accounting skills, and knowledge of routine accounting functions. We strive to offer our customers a valuable experience during each visit with us! Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

• Perform basic and routine accounting functions
• Process all new and used vehicles for registration in the state in which they will be titled
• Prepare tax and title documents and submit all legal transfer work to the Department of Motor Vehicles
• Compile and maintain a complete list of all outstanding title work. Report to management on the status of any missing or problem titles and provide a current list of outstanding titles to the comptroller at the end of month.
• Maintain and reconcile schedules
• Assist in processing car deals
• Check all vouchers and obtain appropriate payment approval
• Post invoices
• Disburse checks
• Prepare accounts for payments and verify data in system
• Follow up on past due accounts and returned checks

• A positive attitude
• Ability to multi-task
• Have an accounting degree or some coursework
• Automotive experience a plus
