Amazon OPTIMA team is looking for a AI content writer with proficient writing and speaking knowledge of Spanish and English language. You will work with multiple cross functional team of annotators, applied scientists and program managers to reduce language/content based defects in AI/LLM generated data (text/ image/ voice).

We enable shopping feature teams deliver superior CX quality by providing them reliable and comprehensive insights and ground truth data to measure and train ML (Machine Learning) models and handle annotation and Root Cause Analysis (RCA) across 10 different languages
Key job responsibilities
As an AI Content Writer II, you will be responsible for writing new or modifying existing prompts/ instructions consumed by AI/LLM models to generate Spanish data. You will be required to make high judgement decisions to fine-tune the LLM models to generate the desired output. A strong candidate for this role will be responsible for:
• Writing grammatically correct texts in different styles with various degrees of creativity, strictly adhering to provided guidelines in both Spanish & English
• Making sound judgments and logical decisions when faced with ambiguous or incomplete information while performing tasks
• Creating and annotating high-quality complex training data in multiple modalities (text, image, voice) on various topics, including technical or science-related content
• Coordinating with multiple cross functional teams to deliver the agreed objectives/ goals
• Extracting model output and deep dive on the model behavior to identify and fix root cause for customer facing defects
• Documenting and reporting progress to leadership team during weekly/monthly/quarterly reviews
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
• High-School or equivalent diploma
• Minimum 2 years of experience working with written language data, including experience with annotation, and other forms of data markup.
• Strong proficiency in US English and US Spanish. The candidate must demonstrate excellent writing, reading, and comprehension skills (C2 level in the Common European Framework CEFR scale).
• Strong understanding of U.S.-based culture, society, and norms.
• Strong research skills to gather relevant information, understand complex topics, and synthesize multiple resources, understanding basic academic integrity, i.e. plagiarism.
• Excellent attention to details and ability to focus for a long period of time.
• Comfortable with high-school level STEM
• Ability to effectively write and evaluate diverse subject matter across various domains
• Ability to adapt writing style to suit various style guidelines and customers.
• Ability to adapt well to fast-paced environments with changing circumstances, direction, and strategy.
