**Job Title: Assistant Property Manager**

We are seeking a friendly and professional Assistant Property Manager to join our team! In this role, you will play a vital part in managing tenant leases, billing, and collections, while also generating insightful monthly reports. You will assist in preparing vendor contracts, supervising services, and contributing to the annual budget process. This position is perfect for someone who enjoys working collaboratively and is eager to support the Property Manager in various tasks.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Deliver exceptional client support to ensure tenant satisfaction.
- Assist in the bidding process for contracted services.
- Prepare lease summaries for new tenants.
- Contribute to the preparation of monthly financial reports.
- Aid the Property Manager in developing the annual budget and managing operating expense escalations.
- Collect rent and address minor account issues.
- Foster positive tenant relations and monitor feedback.
- Draft correspondence related to property management matters.
- Oversee the maintenance work order system.
- Compile monthly reports on the status of tenant complaints across all buildings.
- Collaborate on special projects under the guidance of the Property Manager.
- Work closely with the engineering staff to ensure property upkeep.
- Conduct routine property inspections to maintain standards.
- Assist in responding to tenant service calls promptly.
**Desired Qualifications:**
- Bachelor's Degree or a minimum of 2 years of experience in the commercial property industry.
- Real Estate License is preferred.
- Familiarity with Yardi and MRI property management software.
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly demeanor.
- Basic accounting knowledge and skills.
- Excellent organizational abilities and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
**Essential Functions:**
- Provide daily support to the Property Manager in managing the property portfolio.
- Build and maintain relationships with tenants and vendors.
- Coordinate property scheduling and communication effectively.
- Assist with accounting, reporting, and budgeting tasks.
**Work Environment:**
This position is 100% in-office, requiring you to work during standard business hours. Remote work or telecommuting is not an option for this role.
**Compensation:**
Pay range is $32—$33 USD per hour.
