JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

Quality control testing of methanol-reforming technology
Setup, program, and operation of a gas chromatograph
Analysis of data to determine composition of the produced fuel stream
Development of filtration systems to remove impurities from base methanol precursors.
Furthering the filtration technology that allows us to remove most impurities from low quality methanol-rich feedstocks, prior to their integration into the reformer technology.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

Comfortable debugging an existing Gas Chromatograph and repurposing it for analysis of a hydrogen-rich fuel stream produced by methanol-reforming technology
Motivated to modify and improve the filtration design for impurities removal from the methanol feedstock prior to reforming process.
Skill and familiarity with fuel cell systems is essential, including balance of plant, specifically on-board reformers.
Strong analytical skills, in particular gas chromatography, are critical for the specific tasks for this role.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

Experience working with a variety of lab instrumentation useful for fuel cell testing including load supplies, multimeters, gas flow meters, thermocouples, is strongly preferred.
A degree in Chemical Engineering; MSc is a plus
