Job Description

Overview

We are seeking a reliable and skilled Truck Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently while adhering to all traffic laws and regulations. This role requires a strong commitment to safety, punctuality, and customer service. Experience with tanker. start night shift with option to move to days Friday-Tuesday off Wed-Thurday.

Responsibilities

  • Operate and drive Class B water tanker
  • Execute route driving to deliver goods to designated locations in a timely manner.
  • Load and unload cargo as necessary while ensuring proper handling to prevent damage.
  • Maintain accurate delivery logs and ensure compliance with all safety regulations.
  • Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in safe operating condition.
  • Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers regarding delivery schedules and any potential delays.
  • Adhere to all traffic laws and company policies while on the road.

Qualifications

  • Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) is required.
  • Proven experience in truck driving with a strong understanding of manual transmission operation.
  • Familiarity with route driving and delivery processes.
  • Ability to perform physical tasks related to loading and unloading cargo.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety protocols.
  • Excellent time management skills and the ability to work independently.
  • Previous experience operating various truck types such as roll-off trucks, refrigerated trailers, dump trucks, or tractor-trailers is preferred.
