About the Role
We have multiple opportunities available for motivated Cruise Attendants to join our team here at Journey Beyond Cruise Sydney. These are casual positions with an immediate start. In this role, you are primarily responsible for greeting and assisting guests, delivery of premium food and beverage services, vessel and passenger safety, vessel presentation and conducting safety briefings.
The ideal candidate will be passionate and proud of the food and service they deliver and be willing to go above and beyond for our guests, crucial in achieving our goal of sharing special places and shaping lasting memories. You will be a team player with strong communication skills, a positive "can-do" attitude, and the flexibility to work varied hours including nights, weekends, and public holidays.
Working in close collaboration with the marine team, responsibilities include:
Guest Interaction and Safety : Meeting and greeting guests during boarding and departure, ensuring their comfort and safety at all times, and interacting courteously throughout the voyage.
Food and Beverage Service : Responsible for the bar and food service for guests during the journey, processing payments, communicating orders to the kitchen including dietary requirements, and ensuring all safe food practices are followed.
Vessel Presentation and Maintenance : Ensuring that the vessel is in a presentable state at all times, cleaning food service and dining areas during and after service, and managing stock levels to reduce wastage.
