This position provides hybrid telework opportunities, with employees required to work in person at their designated approved HQ location at least two (2) days per week and as needed/required. Beginning July 1, 2025, all DGS employees will be required to work in office at their assigned HQ location four (4) days per week and as needed/required in alignment with Executive Order N-22-25. The successful candidate must reside in California upon appointment.

Come join a team that creates:The Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) Office within the Enterprise Planning and InClusiveness (EPIC) division is responsible for overseeing DGS' compliance with various federal and state civil rights laws and implementing regulations and executive orders pertaining to DGS employment and services. Under the general direction of the EEO Manager (Staff Services Manager II), the incumbent is responsible for investigating discrimination and harassment complaints, formulating responses to charges filed against the department through external agencies, providing technical guidance to executive-level and senior management staff, and assisting with the administration and coordination of EEO program compliance requirements.
This position is designated under the Conflict of Interest Code. The position is responsible for making or participating in the making of governmental decisions that may potentially have a material effect on personal financial interests. The appointee is required to complete Form 700 within 30 days of appointment and once per year.
