Job Description

Superior Ford is located in Plymouth, Minnesota. We are looking to add Quick Lane AUTOMOTIVE LUBE TECHNICIANS to our team. The Quick Lane technician is responsible to perform basic maintenance and light repairs to customer’s vehicles in a team setting. This is a great entry level position for someone with some automotive knowledge but has not been technically trained for diagnostics or repairs. Quick Lane Lube Technician Responsibilities:
  • Efficiently and accurately perform quality maintenance work in accordance with dealership’s and factory standards in a team setting.
  • Perform quality, detailed multi point inspections on all vehicles serviced.
  • Maintain an organized and neat shop area.
  • Moderate customer interaction.
  • Light building maintenance and cleaning.
  • Shuttle driving and shared Porter duties
  • Comply with all company safety policies and procedures.
  • Communicate directly with service advisors regarding status of service work so that customers can be informed.
  • Continuously learn new technical information and techniques in formal training sessions in order to stay abreast with rapidly changing automotive technology.
  • Demonstrate behavior consistent with the Company’s Values in all interactions with customers, co-workers and vendors.
  • Other duties as required by management
Quick Lane Technician Qualifications:
  • Basic automotive knowledge and previous automotive experience in a professional setting.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Valid driver license and a good driving record.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Professional appearance and work ethic
  • Have the ability and desire to FIX IT RIGHT THE FIRST TIME!
