Raytheon-Rafael Area Protection Systems (R2S) Joint Venture (JV) is seeking a proven, high performing

The selected candidate will manage, plan, and coordinate activities concerned with the operation, repair, and maintenance of manufacturing facilities, equipment, buildings, and grounds to ensure that everything from heating and cooling systems to machinery and production lines are functioning efficiently. In addition, the Facilities Manager will manage budgets, purchase supplies and equipment, and oversee the work of maintenance and repair staff.
Responsibilities to Anticipate : - Supervises and coordinates activities of skilled trades workers engaged in maintaining and repairing equipment, electrical, plumbing, ventilation, structures, utility systems, buildings, and grounds.
- Evaluates problematic systems or facilities and determines the installation or repair services that need to be performed.
- Develops and organizes work schedules and assigns work activities to subordinates. May obtain bids for additional work from outside contractors.
- Coordinate repairs and facility maintenance as needed.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain records of inspections and repairs.
- Maintaining and managing equipment, machinery, and other facilities in a manufacturing setting
- Developing and implementing maintenance schedules and preventive maintenance programs
- Managing budgets and expenses related to facility maintenance and improvement projects
- Coordinating with other departments to minimize downtime and ensure efficient operations
- Procuring necessary parts and supplies for maintenance and repairs
- Hiring and training maintenance staff as needed
- Planning and executing capital improvement projects to improve efficiency, productivity, and safety.
Basic Qualifications : - Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Facility Management, or a related field and minimum 8 years prior relevant experience or in absence of a degree, 12 years of relevant experience.
- The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- The ability to work well under pressure,
- Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and equipment
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to quality work.
Preferred Qualifications: - Manufacturing environment experience.
- International Facility Management Association (IFMA) certification.
Work Location: Camden, Arkansas (relocation support available)
Travel: 0 - 5% mainly within the United States.
