Job Description

Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Human Resources (HR) Assistant to join our team on a contract basis in San Jose, California. In this role, you will be responsible for supporting daily office operations, coordinating with vendors, and assisting with HR-related tasks. Responsibilities: - Oversee daily office operations, including managing inventory for kitchen supplies, snacks, and office materials. - Respond to employee inquiries and collaborate with IT vendors to address hardware and software troubleshooting. - Coordinate with external vendors to manage office purchases and services. - Ensure compliance with internal policies and office procedures. - Organize domestic and international travel arrangements, including working with travel agents for overseas bookings. - Communicate with external IT vendors and international teams to configure systems for new hires. - Track and manage the ordering, delivery, and setup of computer equipment for employees. - Assist with onboarding processes, including ensuring new hires have the necessary tools and resources. - Maintain office documentation and records to support HR and administrative functions. Requirements - Proficiency in using HR systems such as ADP Workforce Now, Ceridian, and HRMS. - Experience with administrative tasks, including ordering supplies and arranging travel. - Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively. - Familiarity with HRIS platforms and onboarding processes. - Knowledge of auditing, background checks, and benefit administration. - Excellent communication and customer service skills. - Ability to work collaboratively with internal teams and external vendors. - Experience in office administration or a related field is preferred.
