Description

We are responsible for processing and managing insurance policy applications, endorsements, renewals, certificates, and cancellations. The role requires a keen attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will have experience in commercial property and casualty insurance processing and a strong understanding of insurance policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

• Policy Processing
  • Process new insurance policy applications, ensuring all required information and documentation are complete and accurate
  • Handle policy endorsements, renewals, and cancellations in a timely manner
  • Review policy applications for compliance with company standards and regulatory requirements
• Documentation Management
  • Maintain accurate and organized client files and policy records
  • Ensure all policy documentation is properly scanned, filed, and stored
  • Generate and distribute policy documents to clients and relevant parties
• Data Entry and Verification
  • Enter policy information into the insurance management system accurately and efficiently
  • Verify data for accuracy and completeness, making corrections as needed
  • Update and maintain client and policy information in the database
• Customer Support
  • Assist clients with inquiries related to policy status, coverage details, and billing
  • Provide support to the customer service team by supplying necessary policy information
  • Communicate with clients, agents, underwriters, and other stakeholders to resolve issues
• Compliance and Reporting
  • Ensure all processing activities comply with company policies and industry regulations
  • Prepare and submit regular reports on policy processing activities and performance metrics
  • Stay informed about changes in insurance regulations and industry trends

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in commercial property and casualty insurance processing is highly desirable
• Insurance license is required. If you’re not licensed- we’ll assist you in getting one.

Skills and Competencies:

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills
• Effective verbal and written communication abilities
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel)
