NJ/NY Gotham FC (“Gotham FC” or “the Club”) is a National Women’s Soccer League (“NWSL”) team representing New Jersey and New York. The team plays at Red Bull Arena in Harrison, NJ.
The Role Gotham FC is seeking a Junior Designer that will report to the Senior Manager of Fan Experience and join the Brand Marketing & Fan Experience Team, to develop creative assets across key channels and touchpoints for the club. You will create static assets for a number of business verticals, supporting across Fan Experience, Game Presentation, Social, and Partnerships needs, as well as in other areas of the business as needed. This includes social, email, merchandise, print projects, signage, digital presentations, and other executions as needed. Working closely with other key stakeholders, you will help uphold a consistent, iconic look for Gotham FC that brings our team to life. Key Responsibilities - Concept and execution of design assets based on briefs provided by business stakeholders.
- Develop and present on-brief design solutions that support the achievement of business objectives, align with brand guidelines, and are delivered on the provided timeline.
- Primary designer for Fan Experience design projects, which include Gotham FC Merch, Signage, In-Stadium Graphics, and other printed collateral.
- Key support for other areas of the business, namely Sponsorships and Operations.
- Design for a range of platforms including social media, email, merchandise, in-venue signage, video boards and LEDs, and print.
- Incorporate feedback, provide multiple design drafts, and collaborate with stakeholders to achieve the ultimate final deliverable.
Qualifications - Bachelor's Degree in Graphic Design/Visual Arts preferred

- Ability to take projects from initiation to completion with minimal supervision and strong attention to detail
- Excel in fast-paced environments, supporting multiple projects/team members and working on multiple projects simultaneously, working cross-functionally to fulfill requests

- Strong communicator, both verbally and visually
- A passion for women’s sports and a desire to make Gotham FC’s visuals iconic, unique, and breakthrough
Capability & Other Characteristics - Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite
- Proficiency in Figma
- Proficiency in Google Suite
- Must be able to work a hybrid schedule: Tuesday-Thursday in office in Jersey City
- Must be able to attend home games at Sports Illustrated Stadium
- Legally authorized to work in the United States
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays
Location: Based at Gotham FC’s business office, which is located at 15 Exchange Place Jersey City, New Jersey, on a hybrid working schedule which consists of three core in-office/in-person days (Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday) and two non-core days (Monday and Friday), with the option of being in the business office or remote. Ability to attend all home games and any mandatory events as well as away games, as necessary. A willingness to travel for other business-related needs, as they arise. Ability to work at the team’s soccer operations office in Whippany, New Jersey, as needed. Gotham FC requires its associates to live in its market, that is, within reasonable commuting distance of Gotham FC’s offices, practice facility and Sports Illustrated Stadium.

Salary range: $50,000-$60,000 annually
