Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Laborer to assist with grounds maintenance and general labor tasks at Springfield Veterans Cemetery. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining the cemetery grounds, ensuring a clean, respectful, and well-kept environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform grounds maintenance tasks, including mowing, edging, trimming, and debris removal.
• Assist with headstone alignment and other cemetery upkeep duties.
• Operate and maintain landscaping tools and equipment safely and effectively.
• Follow safety guidelines and procedures while performing all tasks.
• Support additional labor-related tasks as assigned by management .

Qualifications:

• Prior experience in groundskeeping, landscaping, or general labor is preferred but not required.
• Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
• Strong physical stamina and ability to lift/move heavy objects as needed.
• Willingness to follow instructions and work as part of a team.
• Attention to detail and respect for the cemetery's purpose and environment.

Work Environment:

• Outdoor work in varying weather conditions.
• Physical labor, including lifting, bending, and operating equipment.
