Role: Quality Assurance Analyst

Location: Woodbridge, NJ onsite 4 days/week

Must have Property and Casualty experience

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Based on project requirements and technical design, develop & execute software test cases
• Plan test schedules & strategies in accordance with project scope & delivery dates
• Document test cases, results and defects utilizing Micro Focus (formerly HP) Quality Center/ALM
• Create and manage test data, including data for use by automated scripts where applicable
• Document and communicate project quality over the course of testing, including readiness for release using our standard test process and status reporting template
• Provide feedback and recommendations to developers on software usability and functionality
• Support User Acceptance Test (UAT) phase - largely through test information sharing and test data creation for UAT team members using our automated processes

Desired Skills:

• 3-5 years testing and/or Property & Casualty Insurance experience
• Experience with Quality Center/ALM for requirements, test case and defect management
• Data testing experience including writing SQL and working with XML files
• Exposure to Property & Casualty Insurance a plus
• Excellent skills as a communicator and facilitator, both written and oral
• Ability to work independently and within a team to accomplish a common goal
• Self-starter with strong negotiation, conflict resolution, and influencing skills
• A 'process improvement' mind-set
