Job Description

National Coverage in Murphy, NC is a national Mobile Care provider and distributor of Cellular Phones. National Coverage provides Mobile Care Plans for piece of mind for accidental damage to electronic devices. National Coverage also offers new and refurbished phones through our distribution network at competitive price points.

We are a leading provider of refurbished phones, committed to delivering high-quality devices to our customers. We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Remote Data Typist to join our team. As a Remote Data Typist, you will be responsible for accurately and efficiently typing data into our computer system from various sources, including handwritten documents, spreadsheets, and other materials. This is a remote position, and you will work from the comfort of your own home.

Responsibilities

  1. Data Entry: Type data into our computer system with high accuracy and speed, meeting productivity and quality standards.
  2. Data Verification: Verify data for accuracy and completeness, ensuring that all information is correct and up-to-date.
  3. Document Scanning: Scan and upload documents to our system, ensuring that all files are properly labeled and organized.
  4. Data Management: Manage and maintain large datasets, including updating, correcting, and deleting data as necessary.
  5. Quality Control: Perform quality control checks to ensure that all data is accurate and complete, identifying and correcting errors as needed.
  6. Communication: Communicate with team members and management via email, phone, or video conferencing to resolve issues, answer questions, and provide updates on progress.

Requirements

  • Typing Speed: 60 words per minute (wpm) or higher, with high accuracy.
  • Data Entry Experience: At least 2 years of experience in data entry, preferably in a remote or virtual environment.
  • Computer Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, Teams, and Outlook.
  • Attention to Detail: High level of attention to detail, with ability to identify and correct errors.
  • Organizational Skills: Strong organizational and time management skills, with ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
  • High School Diploma: High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree preferred.
