Are you passionate about SAP and financial processes? We're looking for a SAP Business Analyst I - FICO to join our team! In this role, you'll support SAP users, analyze financial and controlling (FICO) business processes, and contribute to system improvements. What You'll Do
Finance & Controlling Support
Gain a deep understanding of financial business processes and how they integrate with SAP.
Support accounts payable processes, including standard SAP data entry, check processing, and ACH transactions.
Assist with accounts receivable tasks such as payment application, lockbox transactions, ACH, and credit card processing.
Learn and support credit card processing and PCI compliance regulations.
Understand financial structures and the interaction between SAP modules (MM, QM, Inventory, SD) with accounting.
Investigate and resolve accounting-related SAP issues efficiently.
Create and maintain cost centers, profit centers, and general ledger accounts as needed.
Manage and configure the OBYC table and account determinations.
Provide guidance to financial managers on SAP best practices aligned with GAAP.
Maintain and develop reports using Report Painter (GR55) for financial analysis.
Support multiple currency transactions and electronic bank statement configuration.
Work with consultants to resolve issues related to data extraction for Adaptive Planning.
Use SECATT for loading AP invoices and making simple data changes in SAP.
Training & Process Improvement
Provide training and support to SAP users on new and existing processes.
Assist in process improvements for accounting and financial functions.
Contribute to compliance with 5S standards in common work areas.
Special Projects
Support business needs through special projects as assigned.
Occasionally travel to remote offices in Canada, Mexico, or Taiwan (up to 2 weeks at a time).
What We're Looking For
Education & Experience
Bachelor's degree in Business, Accounting, or a related field (MBA or CPA is a plus).
1-3 years of MRP/ERP experience, with at least one full SAP implementation for FI/CO modules.
Background in SAP support or as a functional super user.
At least two years of accounting experience.
Technical Skills
Strong knowledge of SAP FICO modules.
Advanced proficiency in Windows servers, computer networking, and PC hardware.
Familiarity with GAAP principles and financial reporting.
