Job Description:

Do you have a passion for social video series and shows, along with the drive to bring them to life? Can you take high-level creative direction and execute it into compelling, high-performing video content?

Impact Media is looking for a Senior Social Video Producer to build and lead our video department from the ground up. Reporting directly to the Chief Content Officer (CCO), you’ll take a creative vision and translate it into reality—overseeing a production team to produce engaging, high-quality social-first video content.

From conceptualizing video series and shows to experimenting with new formats, you'll play a key role in shaping our creative identity. This is a rare opportunity to build a team, craft a social video strategy for a fast-growing startup, and grow and expand Impact’s presence on platforms like Reels, TikTok, YouTube Shorts, and beyond—all while positioning yourself as a thought leader in the evolving social video landscape.

You will:

  • Translate and refine the creative vision from senior leadership into high-quality, engaging, and platform-optimized video series, shows, and content
  • Develop formats that feature talent, influencers, or notable personalities, in close collaboration with the editorial team
  • Build and lead a high-performing video team, identifying and hiring key talent to bring the strategy to life
  • Oversee the entire production process—from concept to completion—ensuring all content aligns with brand objectives
  • Stay ahead of trends, experimenting with new content formats and storytelling techniques
  • Drive platform expansion and growth on platforms like Reels, TikTok, YouTube Shorts, and other emerging video platforms
  • Ideate and develop organic video content and series that drive revenue, working closely with the client partnerships team to align content with revenue-driving verticals
  • Foster a culture of creativity and mentorship, helping develop the skills of the video team
  • Ensure all content adheres to brand values and platform guidelines while managing potential crises or brand risks

Compensation: $90K - $130K annually

*Job offers will be extended based on the provided salary range, taking into account the individual's experience

Requirements

  • 3-7 years of experience in video production at/for a media company, production company, brand, or publisher
  • A proven track record of creating and leading highly engaging, high-performing video content
  • An innate understanding of current and emerging cultural trends in the digital landscape—grasping not just what’s happening, but why it matters and how to translate it into compelling video content for our primarily Gen Z audience
  • Experience thriving in fast-paced production environments, with a strong ability to experiment, iterate, and adapt
  • A strategic mindset, balancing creativity with revenue objectives and business goals
  • Strong organizational and project management skills, capable of handling multiple projects and meeting tight deadlines
  • A collaborative leader who can think critically under pressure and communicate effectively
  • Proactive and ownership-driven, with the ability to manage up and take full responsibility for key work streams
