This position reports to

IS Application Development Manager

Your role and responsibilities

Responsible for designing, developing, and implementing technical solutions that meet both functional and technical requirements. This role involves collaborating with business stakeholders and team members to understand and translate their needs into software designs and applications, ensuring the final product aligns with business goals. By applying coding and design principles, the developer will work across various domains and systems, including SAP, .NET, and various databases, to deliver high-quality software solutions.

The work model for the role is: Onsite

You will be mainly accountable for:

  • Implementing technical solutions using coding and design principles, using various languages and technologies (ABAP, C#, .Net, Python, etc.)
  • Collaborate with the business and team members to understand functional and technical requirements
  • Participate in task prioritization and incoming development needs while engaging in development, troubleshooting, debugging, and unit testing of solutions
  • Development responsibilities within ERP and non-ERP domains, including SAP, .Net, and database environments

Qualifications For The Role

  • Bachelor’s Degree or to be obtained by June 2025 preferably in Computer Science, Information Technology, or Software Engineering
  • Preferred Experience Includes: Fluency in C#, Python, Java, ABAP, SAP and Microsoft: Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint
  • Exceptional analytical, and communication skills
  • Willingness to learn and utilize new skills, tools, and programming languages
  • Candidates must already have a work authorization that would permit them to work for ABB in the US.
