Role: Data Governance Engineer
Location: Dallas, TX Day 1 onsite
Duration : Contract/Fulltime
Requirements:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field
8+ years of experience in data governance, data quality, and data management, with at least 3 years focused on Snowflake, MarTech, and CDP
Strong expertise in data governance frameworks, policies, and procedures, including metadata management and data lineage
Hands-on experience with Snowflake Data Warehouse, ensuring data quality, integrity, and compliance
Knowledge of MarTech ecosystems, customer data platforms, and their data governance and quality requirements
Proficiency in data profiling, data cleansing, and quality assessment tools (e.g., Informatica DQ, Talend, Collibra)
Familiarity with data privacy regulations (e.g., GDPR, CCPA) and security standards for marketing and customer data
Advanced SQL skills for querying and validating data in Snowflake and other data systems
Strong analytical skills to identify data issues, assess risks, and implement corrective actions
Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work with data teams, marketers, and compliance officers
Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and their data governance capabilities is a plus
Relevant certifications (e.g., DAMA CDMP, Snowflake Data Quality) are advantageous.
