Position Summary:
The Student Services Coordinator plays a key role in supporting and connecting students with various programs. This individual will serve as a liaison and facilitator, providing both on-site and remote support to ensure the successful engagement of students. The coordinator will maintain accurate records, collaborate with community partners, and support the achievement of program goals.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist with recruiting new participants and orienting them to the available programs.
Ensure the timely preparation and administration of CASAS appraisals, pre-tests, and post-tests.
Communicate regularly with administrative offices, ensuring timely submission of required documentation.
Provide on-site and remote support to students, addressing their needs and concerns.
Deliver excellent customer service by greeting visitors and answering phone inquiries.
Assist students with basic technical issues as needed.
Promote and represent programs within the community.
Serve as a resource by keeping the community informed of program activities and updates.
Monitor student recruitment, retention, and attendance (ADA) metrics.
Prepare and submit weekly and monthly activity reports to the supervisor.
Maintain organized student files, both physical and electronic, ensuring confidentiality and accuracy.
Foster positive relationships with community organizations.
Manage the purchasing and distribution of materials and supplies.
Oversee student enrollment and registration in various programs.
Work with site staff to maintain a clean and organized environment.
Ensure compliance with county health department regulations for the National School Lunch Program (NSLP).
Collaborate with instructors and teachers to enhance the student experience.
Handle clerical duties and contribute to the upkeep of the site to ensure efficient operations.
Track the distribution of technological devices to students, ensuring accurate records.
Submit student enrollments, transcripts, and requests to the appropriate departments in a timely manner.

Education and Experience:
High School Diploma or GED required.
AA degree or some college coursework preferred.
At least 2 years of related experience preferred.
Travel Requirements:
Valid driver's license and personal automobile insurance required.
Willingness to travel up to 40% as needed.
Language Skills:
Bilingual in Spanish required.
Physical Demands:
Regular use of hands for typing and handling office equipment, as well as frequent talking and listening.
Ability to stand, sit, and reach with arms; occasional walking, stooping, kneeling, or crawling.
Must be able to lift and/or move up to 10 pounds regularly and up to 40 pounds occasionally.
Requires close vision and prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
