Job Description
The Student Services Coordinator plays a vital role in supporting students by acting as a liaison and facilitator between program activities and students. This role involves maintaining accurate student records, ensuring smooth communication with both students and the community, and assisting in the achievement of program goals. The Coordinator will work closely with team members and stakeholders to create a positive and supportive environment for all students.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist with the recruitment process and orientation for new program participants.
Prepare and administer CASAS appraisals, pre-tests, and post-tests in a timely manner.
Communicate with administrative offices to ensure CASAS paperwork is submitted by due dates.
Provide on-site and remote support to students, offering guidance and assistance as needed.
Deliver exceptional customer service, including greeting visitors and answering incoming calls.
Support students with basic technical issues and troubleshooting.
Represent and market various programs within the community.
Act as a resource to the community by sharing information about program activities and initiatives.
Monitor student recruitment, retention, and attendance metrics, and provide regular updates.
Compile and submit weekly and monthly activity reports to the supervisor.
Maintain organized, up-to-date student records both physically and electronically.
Foster and maintain relationships with external community organizations to further program goals.
Initiate the purchase and distribution of necessary materials and supplies for the program.
Assist with student enrollment and registration for various programs.
Collaborate with site staff to ensure the work environment is clean, organized, and productive.
Ensure compliance with county health department regulations for National School Lunch Program (NSLP).
Work closely with instructors and teachers to ensure students have a positive experience.
Perform clerical tasks, office maintenance, and other duties to support site operations.
Properly store and rotate food inventory, ensuring minimal food waste.
Track the distribution of technological devices to students and ensure timely documentation.
Submit all required documents, including student enrollments and transcripts, to the appropriate departments.

Education & Experience:
High School Diploma or GED required.
Associate's Degree or some college coursework preferred.
At least 2 years of relevant experience preferred.
Travel Requirements:
Valid driver's license and personal automobile insurance required.
Ability to travel up to 40% of the time as needed.
Language Skills:
Bilingual in Spanish required.
Physical Demands:
Must be able to sit, stand, and walk for extended periods.
Occasionally required to kneel, crouch, or lift up to 40 pounds.
Frequent use of hands to handle or feel objects, and talk or hear.
Specific vision abilities are required, including close vision for desk work and computer use.
Work Environment:
The position may involve working in various weather conditions and some exposure to electrical risks.
