Position: Student Services Coordinator
We are seeking a passionate and organized Student Services Coordinator to support our programs. This role serves as a key liaison between students and program activities, ensuring a seamless experience for participants. The ideal candidate is a strong communicator, detail-oriented, and thrives in a collaborative environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist with student recruitment, enrollment, and orientation for various programs.
Provide on-site and remote support to students, ensuring a positive experience.
Prepare and administer assessments such as CASAS appraisals, pre-tests, and post-tests.
Maintain detailed and organized records of student participation and progress.
Collaborate with the community to promote programs and meet enrollment goals.
Deliver excellent customer service by greeting visitors and handling inquiries.
Support students with basic technical issues related to program participation.
Represent and market programs to target communities and regions.
Monitor student recruitment, retention, and attendance, providing regular reports.
Manage student files in both physical and electronic formats.
Coordinate the purchase and distribution of program materials and supplies.
Ensure compliance with county health regulations for the National School Lunch Program (NSLP).
Work closely with instructors to enhance the student experience.
Maintain a clean, organized, and well-functioning office space.
Track and manage the distribution of technological devices to students.
Process student enrollment, transcripts, and requests promptly.
Qualifications & Skills:
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Excellent interpersonal and customer service abilities.
Highly organized with strong attention to detail.
Effective time management skills with the ability to meet deadlines.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and occasionally high-pressure environment.
Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office and Google Suite.
Ability to manage sensitive information with professionalism and discretion.
Bilingual in Spanish is required.
Education & Experience:
High school diploma or GED required; AA degree preferred.
At least two (2) years of relevant experience preferred.
Travel Requirements:
Must have a valid driver's license and personal automobile insurance.
Ability to travel as needed, up to 40% of the time.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to frequently use hands, talk, and hear.
Frequent standing, sitting, and reaching with hands and arms.
Occasional walking, kneeling, crouching, or crawling.
Ability to lift/move up to 10 pounds frequently and up to 40 pounds occasionally.
Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
Work Environment:
The role includes both indoor and outdoor work environments.
Exposure to weather conditions and minimal risk of electrical shock.
