Job Description
We are seeking a passionate and organized individual to serve as a Student Services Coordinator. In this role, you will act as a liaison between the program activities and students, providing both on-site and remote support. You will ensure that students have access to the resources they need for success, maintaining detailed student records, and collaborating with community partners to help achieve program goals. This position offers a dynamic and team-oriented work environment where your contributions will directly support the empowerment of underserved individuals in achieving self-sufficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
Recruitment and Orientation: Assist in recruiting new students and providing orientation to ensure they understand the program's offerings and expectations.
CASAS Assessments: Prepare and administer CASAS appraisals, pre-tests, and post-tests in a timely manner.
Communication: Maintain regular communication with administrative offices to ensure CASAS paperwork is submitted on time.
Student Support: Provide both on-site and remote support to students, offering assistance with basic technical issues and ensuring a smooth learning experience.
Customer Service: Greet visitors and respond to incoming phone calls, offering excellent customer service.
Community Outreach: Represent and promote the program to the community, providing information about related activities and services.
Recruitment and Retention: Analyze and monitor student recruitment, retention, and attendance, ensuring students are engaged and supported.
Reporting: Submit weekly and monthly reports to your supervisor regarding program activities and progress.
Organizational Maintenance: Manage both physical and electronic student files, ensuring they are kept organized and up to date.
Collaboration: Work closely with external community organizations and site staff to ensure smooth operations and a positive experience for all involved.
Materials and Supplies: Initiate the purchase and distribution of materials and supplies as necessary.
Compliance: Ensure the program is in compliance with the National School Lunch Program (NSLP) regulations, maintaining proper storage, rotation, and inventory of meals to reduce waste.
Technology Distribution: Track the distribution of technological devices to students and ensure they are properly stored and accounted for.
Administrative Duties: Perform clerical tasks and maintain the office to ensure optimal functioning of the site.
Qualifications:

Technical Proficiency: Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Suite, with the ability to handle basic technical issues.
Tact and Discretion: Ability to manage sensitive and confidential situations with professionalism and diplomacy.
Adaptability: A proven ability to work well under pressure, while maintaining a calm and organized approach.
Education & Experience:
High School Diploma or GED required.
Associate's degree or some college coursework is preferred.
A minimum of two (2) years of related experience is preferred.
Travel Requirements:
Must possess a valid driver's license and have personal automobile insurance.
Ability to travel as needed, up to 40% of the time.
Language Skills:
Bilingual in Spanish is required.
