Colonial Group, Inc., a family-owned business, is offering a summer tax accounting internship in Savannah, Georgia.

The student intern will work with Tax Accounting professionals to learn property tax assessments, 2290 Annual Tax Filings, PDI Tax Rate Updates, Fuel Refund Applications, the Diversion Process, 720 Filings, and State Excise Returns.

This role requires a detail-oriented, organized critical thinker with strong Excel skills. The intern must work well independently and in teams. The internship concludes with a Leadership Luncheon, where interns present their summer learnings to Colonial Group, Inc.'s Senior Leadership Team.

Requirements

• Must be enrolled in or recently graduated (within six months) from a tax-focused accounting program.
• The ability to commute daily to our Savannah, Georgia office.
• Availability to work 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday.
