Job Description:
The Technical Writer will be responsible for creating precise, user-friendly instructions that effectively communicate complex technical information. This role focuses on improving product manuals, assembly guides, and promotional content, ensuring all materials adhere to quality and brand standards. Collaboration with cross-functional teams is key to translating technical concepts into clear documentation that meets customer and industry needs.
Essential Job Results:

• Develop clear, concise technical instructions for product manuals, assembly guides, FAQs, and other documents.
• Collaborate with safety teams, engineers, designers, and product managers to understand product specifications and requirements.
• Translate complex technical concepts into clear and accurate instructions.
• Test and update existing instructions to reflect product changes or improvements.
• Edit and proofread technical documentation to ensure accuracy and consistency.
• Ensure all documentation meets brand standards and quality guidelines.
• Contribute technical information to marketing materials, including websites, spec sheets, and promotional content.
• Create scripts for video tutorials.
• Update and maintain a library of technical terminology and documentation.
• Work closely with printers, illustrators, graphic designers, and translators.
• Stay updated on the latest industry trends and developments.
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously, meeting deadlines consistently.

Required Skills:

• Proven experience as a Technical Writer, preferably in the appliance or manufacturing industry.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Teams, and software tools for authoring, graphic design, and presentations.
• Ability to communicate technical information effectively to consumers and installers.
• Working knowledge of AI programs.

BonSoft Skills:

• Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Creative problem-solving and adaptability to a fast-paced environment.
• Familiarity with luxury kitchen appliances and industry trends.
• Portfolio of technical writing samples for review.
• Bachelor's degree in English, writing, communications, curriculum development, or software/computer engineering.
