*Hybrid role requiring 2-3 days onsite in NYC*

Our client, a Global Banking Giant, is looking to engage an experienced Technical Writer / Documentation Specialist who has experience working with Information Architecture to help rebuild a number of Sharepoint and Confluence repositories.

Due to client requirement, applicants must be willing and able to work on a w2 basis. For our w2 consultants, we offer a great benefits package that includes Medical, Dental, and Vision benefits, 401k with company matching, and life insurance. 

Rate: $52 - $56 / hr. w2

• Synthesizing technical and business requirements and writing documentation for complex software products.

• Creating documentation for data-related assets such as Data Models, Tables and Attributes, APIs, Reports, and related artifacts.

• Create both wed-based multi-page documentation (with links to navigate between elements and pages) as well as PDF documents for distribution.

• Work with Document Management Systems to create and maintain documentation for technical artifacts.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to get the information you need to help shape the products you document as you develop an understanding of the business needs.

• 8-10 years of experience systems documentation required, experience in the securities or financial services industry is stongly preferred.
• Good understanding of information architecture
• Previous experience as a technical writer with data and engineering programs
• A passion for technology and for helping others understand how complex systems work, and can translate the necessary technical jargon into simplified documents.
• Have great written and verbal skills, and work well with other team members toward shared goals. You can effectively articulate, evangelize, and defend your ideas in front of a variety of audiences from different backgrounds.
• Have an eye for informational architecture and can evaluate organization structure to help improve content management.
• Expertise in technical writing with a proven record of delivering complete technical documentation solutions for complex products.
• Comfortable working with ambiguity. This role is fluid, and will frequently evolve based on partner, strategy, and product priorities.
• Previous experience in a client facing role
• Must have Confluence
• Previous experience writing for hardware and software products
• Able to build large scale presentations

 Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience required

Skills, experience, and other compensable factors will be considered when determining pay rate. The pay range provided in this posting reflects a W2 hourly rate; other employment options may be available that may result in pay outside of the provided range.
