Role Overview :
The Unemployment Insurance Auditor 3 position in Unemployment Insurance Tax / Status is located in the DWD Central Office in Indianapolis. UI Tax is responsible for the timely and accurate administration of over 132,000 active employer accounts. The status unit has the additional responsibility for correctly updating the employer records to show new account creation, successorships, account inactivation’s, and account reactivations. By applying knowledge and techniques based on their scope of authority under Indiana Code 22-4, DWD policies, and DWD UI Tax guidelines, the Audit Examiner 3 is the front line problem solver and in the best position to assist employers with UI tax account issues.
Salary Statement :
The salary for this position traditionally starts at $47,320.00 but may be commensurate with education or work experience.
