We are a rapidly growing commercial roofing company with a strong reputation in the industry, operating for the past three years. With a dedicated team of 15 in-office employees and around 250 crew members (both in-house and subcontractors), we specialize in delivering high-quality commercial roofing services. As we continue to grow, we’re looking for a skilled Roof Estimator to join our team.

Position Overview:

The Roof Estimator will be responsible for accurately assessing and estimating roofing projects for commercial clients. This role will focus solely on the estimating process, ensuring that projects are well-planned, cost-effective, and meet all necessary requirements. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of commercial roofing systems and be able to provide precise, competitive estimates for a variety of projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Analyze blueprints and plans to determine material and labor costs.
• Prepare detailed, accurate estimates for commercial roofing projects.
• Work closely with project managers to ensure estimates align with project timelines and specifications.
• Stay current on market trends and material costs to ensure competitive pricing.
• Maintain a strong understanding of commercial roofing systems to ensure proper estimation of each project.
• Perform site visits as needed to gather information and assess project scope.

Requirements

• 2-5 years of experience in commercial roofing estimation.
• Strong knowledge of commercial roofing systems and materials.
• Excellent ability to read and interpret blueprints and project plans.
• Highly organized and detail-oriented with the ability to follow through on projects.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team and with clients/customers. 
• Ability to work independently and produce accurate estimates without extensive supervision.
